A two-player, trick-and-draw member of the Jass group that was popular in Hungary and Austria around the turn of the 19th and 20th century.

It is unusual in its elevation of the Over Knave (Queen) to top trump rather than the Under Knave (Jack). But its greater distinguishing feature is the ability to score multiple subsets of melds (sets or sequences), though only one subset per trick. You may also score for holding the King and Over in trumps (a Bela).

Many points (and a lot of information) can be earned quickly this way, but you should also try to earn points by capturing certain scoring cards during tricks. Indeed, you must win at least one of the final 9 tricks otherwise all of the card points (plus 10 points for winning the last trick)--161 points in total--will be scored by your opponent.

You accumulate points for melds and captured cards over several hands until you have gained 501 points or more. If your opponent has gained 251 points or more, you score 1 victory point; if they have gained 250 points or fewer, you score 2 victory points. First to 5 (or 10) victory points wins.
